About the Role

We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist to join a leading organisation in the aerospace and defence sector. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with product safety requirements for both new and legacy products. You will also support the integration of an aerospace-compliant Safety Management System and help develop robust product safety processes within a design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate safety requirements across business units
  • Prepare, review, and approve product safety documentation
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to projects
  • Develop and deliver airworthiness and safety training
  • Monitor and report on safety performance indicatorsMaintain and update processes, procedures, and departmental databases
  • Assist with internal audits and periodic regulatory reporting
