The post holder will work across all areas of the service and participate in the 24‑hour rota, including nights, weekends and bank holidays, with the support of senior midwifery staff. They will be responsible for providing high‑quality, evidence‑based care in partnership with women and their families, while maintaining the ability to practise autonomously in line with professional standards. In the absence of the Team Leader, the post holder will also contribute to clinical management and provide leadership within the team.
