Job description
Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeping Associate. You will be responsible for cleaning hotel bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, ensuring sufficient linen is available for daily operations, and may be required to complete additional cleaning tasks in the Back of House.

Responsibilities
  • Clean hotel rooms to required standards and by required deadlines
  • Complete regular cleaning routines (task of the day) as per training
  • Change bed linen and towels and make beds
  • Perform high and low dusting and polishing of furniture
  • Clean bathrooms, including vanity, sink, bath/shower, tiles/glass, and walls
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Replace stock of guest supplies, such as shampoo, soap, and brochures
  • Re-stock drinks in the minibar
  • Re-stock and clean equipment used

In your role you may also be required to perform other duties such as Linen Porter and Public Area Cleaner duties as assigned.

  • Linen Porter: Ensure the delivery of clean linen to designated areas by specified deadlines; collect soiled linen from designated areas by deadlines; check linen cupboards regularly and keep them tidy and stocked; keep service areas clean and tidy; manage linen delivery and return; report damaged linen per procedure
  • Public Area Cleaner: Clean designated public areas to required standards and deadlines; complete regular cleaning routines; vacuum, mop floors, dust and polish furniture; restock supplies; attend housekeeping meetings; manage keys and report health and safety hazards; perform related duties and special projects as directed
