Job summary

A fast-growing vehicle repair company is seeking a Roaming Prepper & Paint Sprayer to maintain high operational performance across multiple sites in the UK. This role involves preparing and painting vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service. Candidates are required to have an ATA/NVQ level 3 in paint spraying and relevant industry experience. The position offers a full-time contract with comprehensive benefits including 33 days of holiday and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Roaming Vehicle Prepper & Paint Sprayer

Location: Tunbridge Wells (TN2 3BQ), Kings Langley (WD4 8GW) & Hampton (TW12 2HR)

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time, 45 hours per week

We’re looking for a Roaming Prepper & Paint Sprayer to join our team, and play a key role in maintaining strong operational performance across multiple locations: Tunbridge Wells, Hampton & Kings Langley.

Role Overview

Painting and prepping of Motor vehicles

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of motor vehicles of all types.
  • Carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.
  • Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.
  • Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment.
  • Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards.
  • Attain manufacturers' and/or estimated repair/paint times.
  • Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
  • Take care of equipment, special tools and personal tools.
  • Occasional travel to other AAR sites when required.
Skills and experience
  • ATA / NVQ level 3 in paint spraying.
  • PPG paint scheme experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good decision making / problem solving skills.
  • Good health and safety awareness.
  • Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician.
