Job description

Roadside Technician – Stockport

Salary: £35,000 basic + Overtime at £25.24ph + Company Van + Tools provided. OTE 60k+ (Top performers earning significantly over 60k!)

Hours: Between 6am - 10pm, shift options: 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm etc, based on a 40‑hour working week, rota given with plenty of time in advance.

Role

Working closely with the breakdown team you will attend breakdowns to diagnose issues and work on vehicles to get them back on the road, or otherwise ensure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.

• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle's issues
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business

Requirements

• Minimum NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (accept HGV Maintenance & Repair Level 2 & Mechanical Engineering Level 2); proof of qualification required
• 3+ years experience on tools after receiving Level 2 or 3 qualification
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 5 points on licence)
