This role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and experience in a clinical setting. Pay Range : $36.52- $52.42 / hour

To lead the staff's nursing activities within the philosophy standards and goals of University Hospital. To serve as clinician educator consultant and manager for patient care and team members. To maintain required competencies to perform the nurses role in a safe and legal manner. May be responsible for duties relative to facilitating schedules quality outcomes and budgeting. May assist nurse manager with various human resources responsibilities.
Associates degree in Nursing with Eighteen (18) months of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. If working in OR PreOp or PACU certification is preferred especially with longevity in position based on work area. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) for OR. If working in PreOp certification as a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) or Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) by the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification (ABPANC) Inc. If working in PACU certification as a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) by the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification (ABPANC) Inc.
