A global law firm is seeking a Risk Operations Assistant to support the Risk and Compliance team. The role involves managing helpdesk queries, client due diligence, and insurance renewals. Kennedys is looking for a Risk Operations Assistant to join our Global Risk and Compliance team. The successful Risk Operations Assistant will provide timely and efficient support in areas such as insurance and practising certificate renewals, client due diligence questionnaires, company secretarial filings for the partnership, and act as the first point of contact for the Risk and Compliance helpdesk.
We are looking for someone who has an interest in developing a career in Risk and Compliance and can bring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, global law firm.
This role will be located in London, working on a hybrid basis and reports into the Head of Risk Operations.
Kennedys' Risk & Compliance (R&C) team manages a broad range of risk, regulatory and governance matters for the firm. Acting as an in‑house legal and compliance function, the team supports the partnership and business services teams globally on issues including regulatory compliance, professional conduct, data risk, insurance, client due diligence, quality and audit, and risk management processes.
The Risk Operations team underpins the department's operational delivery — coordinating global helpdesk support, client due diligence and contracting, and the annual cycle of insurance and regulatory renewals. The team also oversees company secretarial work for the partnership, and manages internal communications to ensure consistent and efficient service across all regions.
