Job summary

A leading merchandising firm in Paignton is seeking an experienced Retail Merchandiser to visit major high street stores for merchandising and audits. The role requires own transport and involves driving sales through excellent customer interaction. Flexible part-time hours of approximately 2-4 hours per week at a rate of £14.12 p/h including holiday pay are offered. Training and support will be provided, and there are opportunities to earn bonuses for referrals.

Job description

Experienced Retail Merchandiser needed in the Paignton area. Approx 2 - 4 hours per week*. £14.12 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start immediately, with long-term, ongoing work available (flexible to suit you). Use of a car is essential as you will need to take point of sale (POS) into the store.

Ideal location: Torquay, United Kingdom, TQ4

Territory covering: Paignton (you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here)

Merchandiser responsibilities

• You will be visiting major high street stores, completing tasks such as merchandising, audits, and placing of point-of-sale (POS)
• Driving sales by negotiating additional displays
• You will need your own transport as sometimes you may need to carry promotional displays/materials which occasionally may be sent to your home
• Building rapport with colleagues and customers whilst in the store.
• You will need a Phone or Tablet for reporting on our App and have a good understanding of taking quality photos and giving insightful feedback when required
• You may be expected to move stock when merchandising - some lifting will be involved at times
