Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager to join us and be responsible for the supervision and organisation of all aspects of production, distribution and service of meals to staff, visitors and patients in the restaurant, functions and hospitality throughout the site and any associated duties.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse till data (EPOS) to effectively plan and adjust menus in relation to service requirements, customer trends and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety Regulations, HACCP, and Trust Hygiene Policies; maintain and adapt records to new regulations and ensure new staff follow said policies.
  • Manage the production and day‑to‑day maintenance of the weekly rota, allocate overtime, and use agency/bank staff to maintain adequate staffing levels within budgetary limits.
  • Ensure correct completion and authorisation of timesheets, allocation and recording of annual leave and bank holidays.
  • Assist and support recruitment and selection of new staff, and ensure discipline, training, welfare of staff including appraisals and return‑to‑work interviews.
