(Floor Manager / Duty Manager)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a strong Restaurant Floor Manager to support a large Cafe & Cocktail Bar with a team of over 170 staff.

The role is ideal for an experienced AGM in a smaller restaurant aiming to develop into a larger independent brand, or an accomplished Assistant Manager from a high footfall, high street brand.

The Business:

Our restaurant and cocktail bar is busy, very busy. We have 5 locations in London, with a 6th opening soon, as well as locations in Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

We operate a large, multi-floor restaurant and cocktail bar, open from breakfast through dinner, closing at midnight. Our teams are employed on full-time contracts, and we offer clear career progression, development plans, and an energetic culture for like-minded professionals. Our venues seat around 300-400 guests across 2, 3, or 4 floors, with a cocktail bar serving nearly 1500 guests daily.

You must be:

  • Passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about your work
  • A natural leader, coach, and mentor, with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front attitude
  • A great communicator and team builder, capable of establishing relationships at all levels
  • Self-aware, able to handle challenges, and understand expectations from your team
  • Experienced in reputable bars and restaurants, with a consistent track record
  • Progressed through various roles within hospitality

Be able to:

  • Train, develop, and lead a team effectively
  • Showcase your achievements in bars and restaurants
  • Align with and promote brand values, defining a values-led business
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate self-awareness
  • Lead a large team and uphold high standards
  • Understand key P&L areas relevant to your role
  • Address challenges and drive performance daily
  • Possess bar and wine knowledge

We are a candidate-driven business. We will have a quick chat to understand your aspirations and present opportunities that may suit you. We may also discuss other roles that could interest you.

We partner with values-led clients with strong growth strategies to open new venues and develop their teams.
