Job Summary

This role involves organising and prioritising work schedules for engineers/sub-contractors and monitoring the progression of those works. The resource scheduler will ensure that calls and queries are responded to within a timely manner and meet client SLAs and expectations. The resource scheduler is the first point of call to resolve urgent issues/scenarios that may arise whilst remaining calm and professional.

Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
  • Scheduling reactive maintenance tasks and quoted works to be completed.
  • Monitoring and assigning urgent reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring they are attended to in line with client SLAs and expectations.
  • Answering inbound calls and updating jobs on the CAFM system.
  • Raising purchase orders for materials and subcontractors.
  • Managing WIP to ensure reactive maintenance tasks are progressed and completed in accordance with client SLAs.
  • Updating work-in-progress (WIP) reports on a weekly basis to ensure they are kept up to date for reporting to the client.
  • Liaising with technical managers, client relationship managers and engineers to ensure reactive maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with client SLAs.
  • Liaising with external contractors to attend site and provide updates on work in progress.
  • Scheduling engineer resources in an efficient geographical method.
  • Ensuring only appropriately qualified or experienced staff carry out allocated services safely and to standard.
  • Performing daily “housekeeping” of the CAFM system, including checking for unassigned tasks and chasing up late paperwork.
  • Carrying out any other tasks within capabilities, as instructed by the line manager.

  • IT literate with strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills and knowledge.
