RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR / FEE EARNER – North Yorkshire
Up to £50K DOE | Hybrid Working

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established, well-respected law firm in North Yorkshire that’s looking to grow its property team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee Earner to manage their own caseload with flexibility and support. You’ll be part of a collaborative and people-first culture where client care is a priority and where work-life balance is genuinely respected.

The Role

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and shared ownership
• Liaising with clients, agents, and lenders to ensure smooth transactions
• Supervising conveyancing assistants and supporting junior staff
• The firm uses a modern case management system (Proclaim) to support file progression and efficiency.

What They’re Looking For

• Experience running a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Solid knowledge of the conveyancing process, compliance, and risk management
• Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
• Strong time management and organisational ability
• Proficiency in legal IT systems – Proclaim is a plus
