The Role

As a Permanent Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer, you will be a vital member of our award-winning law firm’s Residential Property Department. Your role will involve managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, leading and mentoring a small conveyancing team, and working closely with the department Head to drive department growth. The position offers the chance to lead, shape, and grow a team while providing technical guidance and maintaining excellent client relationships. You will be based in Chesterfield, working full-time, with an immediate start available, subject to notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a conveyancing team within the department
• Manage a broad range of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Collaborate with the Head of Residential Property to support departmental growth
• Ensure all cases are managed efficiently, adhering to high standards and deadlines
• Maintain excellent client communication and service throughout the conveyancing process

About you

• At least 3+ years' post-qualification experience in Residential Conveyancing
• Strong IT skills, including familiarity with case management systems
• Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail
