Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a dedicated Resettlement Broker based in Wandsworth. This part-time role (20 hours per week) involves supporting individuals with acute mental health needs as they transition back into the community. Responsibilities include assessing needs, building relationships, providing through-the-gate support, and helping individuals access healthcare and training opportunities. Ideal candidates will be compassionate, motivated, and resilient with experience in multi-agency work.

We are currently hiring for a Resettlement Broker

Location: Wandsworth

Hours: 20 hours per week

Pay: £15 per hour PAYE

Enhanced DBS Checks Required

Make a real difference to people's lives as they move from custody back into the community. We're looking for a dedicated Resettlement Broker to support individuals with acute mental health needs, helping them access the care, stability and opportunities they need to thrive.

What you’ll do:
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to assess needs and create personalised support plans.
  • Deliver in-custody groups and provide through-the-gate support, including meeting service users on the day of release.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, partner agencies and community organisations.
  • Support individuals to access ongoing healthcare, training and employment.
  • Maintain accurate records, meet performance targets and help shape a growing, dynamic service.

What we're looking for:

Someone compassionate, motivated and resilient, with a commitment to safeguarding, equality and high-quality support. Experience in multi‑agency work, risk assessment or resettlement services is a strong advantage.
