The role
We are looking for a full time research assistant (for 1 year) to work with us on the GP4streets project that aims to develop tailoreddo-it-yourself (DIY) green, blue, and grey infrastructure (GBGI) solutions—a “green prescription” for urban streets—enabling communities to respond to the environmental challenges of climate change in ways that are locally relevant and practical. The primary purpose of the role is to assist with the collection and analysis of qualitative data. The project is supervised by Dr Thomas Roberts at the University of Surrey. It is funded by UKRI
About you
You should hold a postgraduate qualification (MA/MSc) in the social sciences, with experience in qualitative research methods and a strong interest in environmental sustainability within an interdisciplinary context.
You will be working in an interdisciplinary team with researchers from the University of Surrey and University of West of England
You will be based at the University of Surrey in Guildford and conducting field work in Guildford and South West England
You will also have the opportunity to develop your own research interests in related fields and will be encouraged to develop a PhD proposal in a related field.
