Overview

Multi Skilled Engineer – Permanent – Full Time

Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer. Covering Cambridgeshire and the East of England (main towns: Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, Haverhill).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties.
• Carry out a variety of trades, including: minor plumbing, joinery, tiling & flooring, kitchen and bathroom fitting.
• Work to deliver high-quality service within a social housing setting, completing assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided).
• Ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with best practice to provide an excellent customer experience.

About You / Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent)
• CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Experience working in both occupied and void properties
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for completing repairs on time, first time
• Experience within social housing maintenance (desirable)
• Have your own tools
• Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
