They are seeking a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney with a background in Electronics or Engineering to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a largely remote working environment while contributing to high-quality patent work for an international client base.
Assisting in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across electronics and engineering technologies
Conducting patent searches and supporting the preparation of patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions
Managing client portfolios and liaising with foreign associates
Supporting clients with IP strategy, licensing, and enforcement matters
Collaborating with senior attorneys and gaining exposure to complex IP work
Part-qualified European or UK Patent Attorney (or close to qualification) with a technical background in electronics or engineering
Some drafting and prosecution experience, ideally including UKIPO and/or EPO filings
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Comfortable with a largely remote working structure while remaining proactive and self-motivated
