Job summary

A leading consultancy in operational technologies is seeking an Operational Technology Engineer / Architect / SME for a long-term contract in Manchester. The role involves acting as a technical authority for critical operational applications, enhancing system performance and governance, and overseeing upgrades. The position is mostly remote with occasional travel to Edinburgh. Strong experience in OT, particularly with GE Vernova PowerOn and SCADA is essential. Competitive rate of £870 per day.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operational Technology engineer, architect, or SME.
• Strong experience with GE Vernova PowerOn and ADMS platforms.
• Ability to improve monitoring, performance, and resilience of OT applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for operational applications.
• Govern OT architecture and approve upgrades.
• Support long-term operational stability across core platforms.
