A charity consultancy is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant for a 9-month fixed-term role. This position offers 100% remote work and a competitive salary of £55,000 to £60,000 per annum. The role involves leading balance sheet reviews and supporting audit preparations within the charity sector. Ideal candidates will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountants with strong Excel skills and a passion for making a positive community impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead on review of balance sheet accounts and manage the reconciliation process.
• Work to establish standardised processes across the charity for reconciliations.
• Prepare for the interim and year end audit.
• Support preparation of information for the audit.
• Transition month end information to SharePoint.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

Proficient use of MS Excel (pivot tables and formulae)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for the non-profit sector
