Overview

We are looking for warm, resourceful, energetic and diverse team members to join our Forest Road service in Loughborough as Relief Recovery Support Workers. Forest Road is a step-through accommodation-based service offering holistic support of up to seven Service Users. Your role is to support individual service users with a person-centred approach to their care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking the responsibility of being a Key Worker/Co-worker.
  • Planning alongside members of the person’s circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations.
  • Co-producing person-centred plans, meetings and processes with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach.
  • Setting meaningful and aspirational goals with service users and supporting them to progress towards those goals.
  • Working within a recovery-focused approach with people experiencing mental health problems, in community, residential or inpatient settings.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience of working with people in a recovery-focused way who are experiencing mental health problems, in any setting (community, residential, or inpatient).
  • Motivated, with good communication skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes using a person-centred recovery approach.
