Job summary

A regulatory body for healthcare professionals is looking for a lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a UK Practising Certificate and experience in advocacy. Responsibilities include reviewing fitness to practise cases and presenting evidence at hearings. Qualifications

  • Holder of a UK Practising Certificate as UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Experience of advocacy in legal proceedings.
  • Proven experience of providing accurate legal advice under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare fitness to practise cases for the practice committees.
  • Present hearings before the NMC's practice committees.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for case preparation.
