Overview

Be part of an exciting new chapter in a refurbished, expanding practice. We’re offering an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse based in the suburb of New Malden. They are a close-knit team including 6 vets, 5 RVNs, 3 VCAs, a dedicated reception team, a practice administrator and practice manager. Since taking over in 2012, the practice has gone from strength to strength and now has brand-new facilities.

Facilities
  • 6 consult rooms & 2 operating theatres
  • A dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray
  • Imaging room with digital X-ray, ultrasound & rigid endoscope
  • Separate dog, cat & exotic wards plus isolation ward
  • A fully equipped pharmacy

Alongside cats, dogs, and rabbits, the practice sees a variety of exotic cases. One of the vets is studying towards a certificate in exotic medicine, and two of the RVNs are developing specialist qualifications.

About You

They are seeking a motivated, positive, and enthusiastic RVN who’s excited to help shape the future of the practice. You’ll have:

The Role
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • 1 in 4 weekends, no OOH – giving you a great work/life balance
  • Varied duties including anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse consults, radiography, ultrasonography, ordering, and assisting with procedures
  • Opportunities to carry out Schedule 3 procedures
