Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse - 8-month FTC with the possibility of extending - Salary up to £30k depending on experience - YourVets Smethwick

We have an exciting opportunity here at YourVets Smethwick for a Veterinary Nurse to join us. You would be joining our friendly, supportive and experienced team in our modern purpose built clinic. The surgery is well equipped with a separate feline and canine wards, two theatres, dental suite, large central prep area and separate triage/treatment zone. We are committed to providing you with the best possible working conditions.

This is a full time position working 40 hours across 4 days a week (7:45am - 7:30pm), including a 1 in 4 weekend rota. We also fairly share our bank holiday rota across the team. The role would be a fixed term contract covering maternity leave for 8 months with the possibility of extending.

Responsibilities

• Cover a full-time schedule of 40 hours across 4 days (7:45am - 7:30pm) with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and a shared bank holiday rota.
• Provide nursing support during maternity cover with potential extension.
• Engage with available career pathways and ongoing professional development opportunities within CVS.
