Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse (No OOH) – Hull

This well-established, RCVS-accredited practice in East Yorkshire offers the perfect mix of city and rural life. With a strong focus on small animal care, the team prides itself on high clinical standards, excellent client service, and creating a supportive environment where nurses can thrive.

The Role

• Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts of 7.5 hours between 8am – 7pm, Monday to Friday
• Weekend rota: 1 in 7 (Saturday 8am–4pm, Sunday 9am–4pm, with time off in lieu + overtime paid for Sunday)
• No OOH (covered by Vets Now)

You’ll be joining a team where nursing skills are highly valued, with opportunities to run nurse clinics, perform Schedule 3 procedures, and rotate between theatre, inpatient care, consulting, and circulating nurse duties. This ensures plenty of variety and job satisfaction. As a training practice, the team also places strong emphasis on mentoring and supporting career aspirations.
