Job description
Overview

Medivet Edenbridge, formerly Lingfield Lodge, has proudly served the local community and surrounding areas since 1982. Nestled in the countryside, the practice offers an operating theatre for all surgical procedures, a comprehensive laboratory, digital X-ray and ultrasound, and cutting-edge laser technology in soft-tissue surgeries. There is a dental room where dentistry is carried out, separate dog and cat wards, and outdoor runs for dogs.

Role Accountabilities
  • Exceptional care for patients and clients, and positive contributions to the team.
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activity.
  • Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, compliant with regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of supporting nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Experience in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
