Overview

Registered Scrub Nurse – Whitechapel Rd. Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Scrub Nurses in Whitechapel in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. We offer flexible shifts from Monday through Sunday, with block bookings available up to 3 months in advance. The closest underground station is Whitechapel (about a 6-minute walk).

At Pulse, we aim to reduce administrative hassles (booking shifts, timesheets, and stability concerns) so you can focus on the job you love. PAYE rates: £20.89 – £34.78 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Set up the operating room for procedures and ensure all tools are sterile and ready to use.
  • Hand tools to the doctor during surgery and perform other duties inside the surgical room as required.
  • Act quickly in emergencies during surgery while remaining calm and following instructions.
  • Assist with draping patients and assisting gowning/undressing as needed.
  • Complete documentation and hand over the patient to the recovery room.
  • Role responsibilities may vary by location and skill level.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months of recent UK NHS experience within the Scrub sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference and account for the last three years of employment
  • Enhanced DBS or the ability to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK (proof required)
