Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional Registered Nursing Associate to join our Community Nursing teams in Christchurch.

You will work alongside experienced Community Staff Nurses to provide high‑quality care to patients in their homes. You will confidently identify care needs, monitor patients’ conditions and record observations based on care plans. You will support people to maintain their wellbeing and independence, helping to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. Being a driver is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in their own homes.
  • Identify care needs, monitor patients’ conditions and record observations using care plans.
  • Support people to maintain wellbeing and independence, reduce unplanned hospital admissions.
  • Perform driving duties as required to access patient homes.
Working hours & shift patterns
  • Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
  • Weekends, bank holidays and late shifts on a rota basis.
  • Weekends and bank holidays are expected pro rata.
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing Associate.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Current Enhanced DBS check.
  • Willingness to learn and advance skills through our training programmes.
