Main duties

As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also advise families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, keep them informed, and involve them in choices for ongoing care. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care. You will also provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

About the role

Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents.
