A leading healthcare organization in the UK is looking for a full-time Band 5 RGN primary care nurse for a 6-month interim position in HMPYOI Deerbolt. The role involves providing diverse nursing services including emergency care and health assessments. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care are vital. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced nurses.
We\'re recruiting now for full time (37.5 hours per week) Band 5 RGN primary care nurses to cover an interim position for approx 6 months to work within our prison services in HMPYOI Deerbolt.
Every day is different for a prison nurse, as you\'ll work within varied roles including:
We are a multi-disciplinary team collaborating with other services like GP, Optometry, Dentist, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Sexual health, Substance Misuse and Mental health. To help us deliver our extensive range of services, you\'ll be a qualified registered nurse (RGN) with a passion to deliver high-quality clinical care and a commitment to the rehabilitation of offenders. You\'ll be self-motivated, have a sound knowledge base and excellent communications skills.
Experience of working within the prison environment is not necessary as full induction and training will be provided.
