Job description

Overview

We are recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses (Band 5) and Mental Health Liaison Nurses (Band 6) to work flexible shifts across NHS services in Manchester and Greater Manchester.

Band 5 RMN – Key Duties

• Deliver patient-centred care in acute and community mental health settings
• Administer medication, monitor wellbeing, and maintain clinical records
• Support recovery-focused care plans with the MDT

Band 6 Liaison Nurse – Key Duties

• Provide rapid assessments in A&E and general hospital wards
• Liaise with medical and psychiatric teams for safe interventions
• Support crisis care planning and risk management

Requirements

• NMC registration (RMN)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in acute/liaison psychiatry desirable (for Band 6)
