Responsibilities
  • Manage the running of a defined area of the home with authority and accountability for care decisions.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day running of your care area, providing personal care to residents and leading the care team.
  • Supervise routine medication administration and oversee the care team’s delivery of care.
  • Respond to all emergency situations promptly.
  • Act as a named nurse for individual residents, performing needs assessments and personal care plans, reviewing these bi‑monthly in line with Signature policy.
  • Develop strong resident relationships, involving them in care decisions and ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date documentation.
  • Model professional behaviour, mentor the care services team, and share specialist knowledge to uphold the highest care standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Active NMC registration and post‑registration qualifications a big advantage.
  • Awareness of CQC regulations, health & safety and COSHH regulations.
