Responsibilities

  • Working within a mixed role team.
  • Working at the Queens Medical Centre and also at Kingsmill Hospital.
  • Assisting in minor oral surgery.
  • Assisting in clinics for patients with Head and Neck Cancers, TMJ conditions, facial deformity and complex dental treatment.
  • Working with Clinician providing Orthodontic and Restorative Care.
  • Providing excellent standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Providing excellent clinical care.

Overview

Are you looking for an exciting challenge? If so, then the Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Department may be the place for you! We are looking for a hard working, motivated nurse to join our fantastic team. We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of patient care. The Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Outpatient Department comprises two outpatient clinical areas: the Maxillofacial Clinic and the Orthodontic and Restorative Clinic. We also provide an Orthodontic service at Kings Mill Hospital. We care for a vast range of Maxillofacial conditions including Head and Neck Cancers, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery. We see patients for both emergency and scheduled appointments and have direct contact with the associated ward, also caring for these patients. The successful candidate will work closely with the whole team to develop and continue their skills.
