Admissions and Discharge

Are you a dedicated registered nurse with experience in paediatrics? Medacs Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) - Royal Hospital for Children

💷 Pay: £325- £430
📅 Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 0730-2000 - ongoing for 6 months
📌 Location: QEUH - Royal Hospital for Children
💸 Weekly Pay: Fast, reliable weekly payments

🛠 Key Responsibilities:
  • An Admissions and Discharge Pediatric Nurse manages the safe, timely, and appropriate care of children, ensuring smooth transitions and coordinated care with families, hospital teams, and community services
  • To demonstrate high standards of clinical practice
  • Responsible for planning the workload for a team of patients
  • To safely admit day surgery patients, to care for the patient throughout their surgical pathway ensuring a safe nurse led discharge
✅ Essential Qualifications:
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience
  • At least 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years
