Qualifications

  • Fully aware of key HS&E legislation including the Construction Design and Management Regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills, being able to manage own time to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent written communication skills for accurate reporting using IT systems.
  • A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health and Safety and/or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce HS&E plans for safe operations.
  • Identify and report hazards during site visits.
  • Produce management reports on safety compliance.
  • Inspect site activities to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Carry out incident investigations and report to HSE.
  • Monitor contractors' adherence to HS&E risks.
  • Communicate with Regulatory Enforcement Agencies.
  • Provide HS&E training and maintain standards.
