Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing service team covering the Yorkshire and Humberside region. This role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality refrigeration service, maintenance, and breakdown support across a variety of commercial kitchen and food-service environments.

Working on systems such as walk‑in fridges, walk‑in freezers, display chillers, and general commercial refrigeration equipment, you’ll play a key part in keeping customer operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair on commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and provide effective refrigeration troubleshooting
• Replace parts and complete safe, accurate repairs
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce breakdowns
• Ensure compliance with F‑Gas and all refrigeration regulations
• Provide clear communication and excellent customer service on‑site
• Keep detailed and accurate job records
• Work collaboratively with the wider HVAC & refrigeration team

What We’re Looking For :

• F‑Gas Category 1 (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years’ commercial refrigeration experience working on catering, retail, or hospitality sites
• Good electrical understanding (18th Edition beneficial)
