Job summary

A local council is seeking Recycling Operatives for their Whetstone depot. This role involves assisting the public with recycling and waste disposal. Candidates must have a full driving license and be comfortable working outdoors. Initially a temporary position for 6 months, it may lead to a longer-term contract for the right candidate. Pay is GBP 13.25 per hour, with various working hours throughout the year.

Job description

Working outside you will be required to assist and advise customers with the recycling and disposal of waste materials.

You will be required to work from different sites, so transport and a full driving license will be required.

The position includes:

• Completion of manual work
• Dealing with the general public
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to operate machinery.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Commencing on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months, however will lead to longer for the right candidate

Pay GBP13.25 per hour

Working Days: Thursday - Monday (5 days our of 7)

Summer hours are 9am 7pm.

Winter hours from October 9am 4pm
