Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to: Recruitment Lead

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at HSL Compliance. Located across the UK, and backed by private equity, HSL is growing fast and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fast-paced, professional environment. In this role, you will be the "engine room" of our recruitment activity. Whilst the recruitment team has the support of a HR Assistant, this role will also support the Recruitment lead in finding great talent, managing candidate communications and ensuring the handover for onboarding compliance is second to none.

What You’ll Do
  • Candidate Sourcing: Actively find candidates for our technical and office roles using LinkedIn, Indeed and other CV databases.
  • Interview Coordination: Manage diaries and schedule interviews between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved.
  • Interviewing: You will be actively involved in first line interviewing of candidates.
  • ATS Management: Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) up to date, ensuring all candidate data is accurate and compliant with GDPR. Experience with TeamTailor as an ATS would be highly desirable.
  • Data analysis: You will support the Recruitment Lead with the production and analysis of key recruitment data, ensuring we are continuing improving our recruitment process and approach and achieving key KPIs as set out by the Chief People Officer.
  • Candidate Care: Act as a point of contact for recruitment queries, providing timely and friendly updates to applicants.
  • Employer Branding: Help in the development of our employer value proposition and create engaging social media posts to promote HSL Compliance as a great place to work.
About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic environment with an eye for detail and a passion for candidate experience. You should have:

  • Recruitment Experience: Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is essential, ideally inhouse with a similar company. You should also have experience recruiting into head office roles and it would be desirable if the successful candidate has recruited into field based roles.
  • Organisational Skills: The ability to juggle multiple tasks is essential.
  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, Excel and recruitment software (ATS). Ideally TeamTailor. Experience in automation of processes and the introduction and use of AI would be desirable.
  • Data: experience with data and data analysis. Experience in a culture which encouraged continual improvement would be desirable.
  • Communication: A professional phone manner and the ability to write clear, engaging emails to candidates.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A proactive attitude and a desire to learn the technical side of compliance recruitment and EDI best practices.
  • Experience of working in a private equity or high growth environment would be desirable.
