As our Roadside Recovery Driver, you'll go the extra mile for our customers. Anything can happen whilst driving, but it's OK—we are the AA! We help get everyone back on the road safely and moving again.

On Target Earnings: £45,435 for CE, £39,785 for C license

Salary: Guaranteed minimum c. £38,187 for CE (HGV 1) license, £34,815 for C (HGV 2) license

This includes a location allowance

Depot Postcode: KT15 2QF

• Shifts: Rolling Rosta, working 18 out of 28 days with 2 weekends off. Standard shifts are 9 hours 45 mins (including a 45 min break). End-of-shift flexibility may require up to 12 hours in a shift including break.

You'll get their day moving again by using your technical skills to load vehicles onto your truck and transport the vehicle and customer to a garage or other required location.

You'll get their day moving again by using your technical skills to load vehicles onto your truck and transport the vehicle and customer to a garage or other required location.

What do I need?

• To be eligible for this role you must live within 25 miles OR 1 hour travel from the depot – postcode included in advert.
• A full driving category C driving licence (HGV 2). Ideally you'll hold the CE (HGV 1) licence too, though this isn't essential as we can help you with this.
• Driver CPC (certificate of professional competence) qualification and a digital tachograph card.
• Comfort with adopting new technology—training will be provided.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
