Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, part-time Receptionist to join our busy hospital for 20.75 hours per week, on a shift pattern. You will be required to cover main Reception and Outpatient Reception, including weekends and bank holidays.

Note: Previous applicants need not apply.

  1. Work as part of a team providing reception services at both Main and Outpatient Reception, including being the initial point of contact.
  2. Answer telephone calls and redirect as appropriate.
  3. Book patients for their appointments.
  4. Meet and greet patients in an open and welcoming manner.
  5. Work according to a shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
  6. Prioritize workload daily.
  7. Use various computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Medway.
