The role involves supporting reception teams across the Paediatric Department, ensuring a high-quality reception service in inpatient and outpatient settings. We are looking to recruit a pooled receptionist for Women & Children’s Services within the Paediatric Department. This is a permanent contract, which will require some flexibility in working pattern to ensure the service is covered 7 days a week and could involve working any time in a 24 hour period. You will be required to support all our reception teams across the Division which will include the wards and outpatient reception areas. The post holder will provide a high-quality reception and support service within an inpatient and outpatient setting and as such, will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust. To provide a support service to the technical staff, a versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a prerequisite of this post.
