About The Role

We are now looking for a talented Receptionist to join our team on a 9 month Fixed-Term contract.

The Receptionist role is to provide a professional and welcoming reception service and facilities support for the Milton Keynes office. This role is for 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm.

The Receptionist Will Be Responsible For
  • Welcoming all visitors and employees professionally, ensuring all visitors sign in/out and receive emergency procedure briefings.
  • Operating the switchboard, transferring calls, and taking messages as needed.
  • Managing deliveries: signing for items and notifying recipients.
  • Controlling access to the car park and building.
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen and office supplies and liaising with suppliers to adjust orders.
  • Act as point of contact for external visitors, assisting with refreshments, room bookings and set up.
  • Sourcing contractors/suppliers and liaising with contractors for onsite maintenance (in person, phone, email).
  • Performing daily office walk-throughs to update the maintenance schedule (e.g. leaks, broken toilets, HVAC issues).
  • Maintaining and updating office floor plans and desk allocations.
Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

We are looking for a talented individual who can prioritise workload effectively and displays excellent organisational skills, including problem solving. A helpful nature is an important part of this role and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Essential

  • Evidence of ability to manage relationships both internally and externally and at all levels, e.g. with colleagues, customers, contractors, suppliers etc.
  • High level of proficiency with IT, using Microsoft Office applications and Outlook for organisation and prioritising workloads.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Desirable

  • Prior Reception Or Customer Service Experience Preferred
