Qualifications

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Secretarial and administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Experience of working with the general public in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in inputting to databases and spreadsheets.
  • Experience of working in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, book in, and signpost patients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Oversee day-to-day reception area operations.
  • Use SystmOne for accurate information entry and retrieval.
  • Manage post, emails, and health records per protocols.
  • Contribute to statistical reporting and audits.

Skills

Understanding of the need for confidentiality
Ability to create and structure office systems
Competent in Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills
Able to demonstrate excellence in Customer Service
Experience of working in an environment requiring safeguarding awareness

Education

NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or relevant experience
