Real Estate - Senior Associate | 6+ PQE | Leading National Law Firm | Birmingham

BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top-ranked national law firm with the recruitment of a Senior Associate to join its expanding Real Estate team in Birmingham. This is a permanent position offering hybrid working, a highly competitive salary, and excellent career development opportunities.

The Firm & Team

This national firm is widely recognised for its work in the healthcare, public, and voluntary sectors, with its Real Estate division consistently ranked in the top tier by Legal 500 and Chambers UK. The team supports a wide range of clients including NHS organisations, local authorities, emergency services, and primary care providers, while also expanding into the private sector.

The work is diverse and impactful, covering:
· Development projects such as new hospitals, health centres, and regeneration schemes
· Landlord and tenant work, asset management, and land sales
· Collaboration with specialist property litigation and primary care teams

The Role

As a Senior Associate in the Birmingham office, you will:
· Manage your own caseload of commercial property transactions
· Work closely with partners and senior colleagues on more complex matters
· Support the team's business development initiatives
· Advise clients across healthcare, local government, and other public/private sectors
This role is ideal for a confident, proactive real estate lawyer ready to take the next step in a high-performing, purpose-driven team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:
· At least 6 years' PQE in commercial real estate
· A track record of independently managing property transactions
· Strong communication and client relationship skills
· Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
· Experience in the healthcare sector is beneficial but not essential
