Job description
Overview

Are you ready to take on a role where your decisions shape the future of our global footprint? At business area Mining and our Global Real Estate department, we’re looking for a Project and Asset Manager – a dynamic position that blends strategic influence and hands-on execution.

You’ll be part of a global team working on high-impact investment projects across continents and play a key role in how we manage, develop, and optimize our real estate assets. If you thrive in a fast-paced, international environment, this is your opportunity.

About the job

In this position, you manage and develop our global real estate portfolio. You support and lead pre-studies and occasionally the implementation of both greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring alignment with our technical, contractual, and organizational standards. You manage these pre-studies by defining property requirements, shaping designs and building business cases. Working closely with the Head of Global Real Estate, you help shape acquisition and disposition strategies, analyze scenarios, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects that meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining the global real estate portfolio, including lease renewals and terminations.
  • Supporting the business in the acquisition and divestment process as well as the lease management.
  • Maintaining and updating the real estate database and ensuring investment approvals are in place.
  • Contributing to cost reduction targets and long-term capacity planning.

The location for this position is flexible with a preference for Stockholm, Sweden. We apply a hybrid work solution and extensive travel is a natural part of the job.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in project management, preferably within large international organizations. You bring solid knowledge of real estate development, investment processes and portfolio management, and you’re skilled in budgeting, reporting and navigating international construction law. You have a university degree, preferably technical, business administration or a related field. Acting in a global environment calls for proficiency in English.

You're structured, curious, and confident—with a natural ability to analyze complex information and balance details with the bigger picture. You take initiative, lead with energy, and thrive in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments. With a collaborative mindset, you connect people, processes, and technology to drive progress, and your agile approach helps you navigate both strategic and operational challenges.
