Responsibilities

• Deliver Real Estate Management Services to BAE Systems businesses primarily in the UK but globally.
• Support the Real Estate Strategy Manager in developing a Real Estate Strategy.
• Provide Landlord and Tenant expertise including lease negotiations and rent reviews.
• Manage sites to increase their asset value to the Company.
• Monitor and influence Planning policy for the sites.

Skills

Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent experience

Ability to manage budgets including cash flow, forecasting, EBIT

Knowledge and experience of Real Estate Market and Land Law

Experience of working in property consultancy, Corporate Real Estate and/or Asset Management

Experience of dealing with internal & external stakeholders at all levels

Overview

Job Title: Real Estate Manager

Location: Westcott or Frimley, Broad Oak, Christchurch, Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £55,000 dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering Real Estate Management Services to BAE Systems businesses primarily in the UK but globally as required
• Supporting the Real Estate Strategy Manager in the development of a Real Estate Strategy for sites and the implementation of the strategy
• Supporting the Head of Programmes & Real Estate in the reporting and measurement of Real Estate Business Plan performance
• Providing Landlord and Tenant expertise to the business including lease negotiations, rent reviews etc.
• Managing the sites for which they are responsible to increase the asset value to the Company
• Monitoring and influence Planning policy for the sites and develop master plans
• Work with internal and external legal support on the negotiation and completion of legal agreements
• Manage the acquisition and disposal of real estate to deliver business requirements

Your skills and experiences

• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage budgets including cash flow, forecasting, EBIT
• Knowledge and experience of Real Estate Market and Land Law
• Experience of working in property consultancy, Corporate Real Estate and/or Asset Management

The Real Estate team is a central team in shared services that manages real estate portfolio for the business. They cover a very interesting and diverse portfolio of asset classes, offices, industrial spaces as well as submarine construction facilities.
