The Client

A leading financial services firm is seeking a 1-8 PQE* lawyer with expertise in real estate finance lawyer to join its growing business in an execution focused role.

This role is ideal for a legal professional looking to broaden their expertise and transition into more of a business role.

The Role

As a key member of the execution team, you will provide expert advice on a range of real estate finance deals across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction execution on a variety of deals.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating standard form loan agreements, security documents, and related financing instruments and managing the underlying due diligence process.
  • Managing legal risk and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Managing relationships with external counsel when required
The Successful candidate
  • Qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with 1-8 years'* PQE real estate finance or securitisation experience
  • Background in a leading law firm or in-house at a financial institution
  • Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
