Real Estate Energy Lawyer (4-8 years') – Edinburgh/Glasgow

A leading international firm is growing its Real Estate Energy & Infrastructure capability in Scotland and is seeking an experienced Real Estate Energy Lawyer to join the team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role would suit a Solicitor with 4-8 PQE or above, qualified in England & Wales or dual-qualified (Scotland), with exposure to the property elements of energy and infrastructure projects.

The role

The position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of UK-wide energy and infrastructure matters, supporting projects from development through to financing, acquisition and disposal. The work is varied and high profile, spanning sectors such as renewable energy, energy transition and strategic infrastructure.

Projects typically include onshore and offshore renewables, grid and transmission assets, storage solutions and emerging technologies within the energy space. The role sits within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment with access to complex, long-term mandates.

About You

You are likely to have:

  • Qualification in England & Wales, or dual qualification with Scotland
  • Experience advising on real estate aspects of energy or infrastructure matters
  • Strong technical ability and sound commercial judgement
  • A genuine interest in the energy sector and its evolution
  • A collaborative and client-focused approach
