A dynamic construction firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial lead on multi-utility projects. The role involves managing budgets, administering contracts, and ensuring financial success. Candidates should have a strong background in utilities or construction and a thorough understanding of NEC contracts. The position offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 plus additional benefits including a company car and wellness programs.
Quantity Surveyor - Multiutilities. Commutable from Leeds, Kippax, Garforth, Swillington, Micklefield, Barwick in Elmet. Salary £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Company Car / Car Allowance (£6K) + 26 days holiday (+BH) + Death in Service Pension + Wellbeing Benefits. In this role, the Quantity Surveyor will take on full commercial responsibility for multi-utility infrastructure projects from inception to close. You will manage all project costs, from preparing budgets and controlling expenses to administering contracts and negotiating with subcontractors to ensure financial success. This role suits a Quantity Surveyor with experience in utilities or construction, ideally with a residential multi-utilities background. A good knowledge of NEC contracts or other contract forms, strong experience with commercial reporting tools and Excel, and a full UK driving licence are required.
