They are now seeking a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of accurate estimating, tendering and cost reporting across all projects. You will advise on every aspect of cost and budget planning, identifying client needs, preparing cost and timeline forecasts, and monitoring progress throughout construction. A key part of this role is developing and maintaining internal reporting systems to create a "best in class" cost-management framework that is efficient, simple and fully transparent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and optimise the cost reporting and management process, driving efficiency, value and transparency

  • Provide detailed estimating and forecasting for all new projects

  • Create and implement cost and cash‑flow tracking documents across the project portfolio

  • Develop pricing timetables for FF&E and prepare M&E tender documentation

  • Support the development of internal cost‑control systems and processes

  • Assist with feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses and cost‑risk evaluations

  • Deliver accurate weekly cost tracking for all live projects

  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money, compliance and timely delivery

  • Support the PM team to keep projects on track and running efficiently

  • Attend site visits to validate material costs, progress and quality

  • Identify and recommend value‑engineering opportunities without compromising quality

  • Maintain consistent, transparent documentation for internal teams and external clients

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, bills of quantities and related project documentation

  • Run tender exercises and produce clear, detailed summary reports

  • Track design or construction changes and update budget projections accordingly

  • Produce final accounts and reconciled costings for completed projects

  • Develop and implement frameworks, agreements and schedules of rates to drive value across multiple clients

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, contractors and suppliers

  • Procure or agree the services of subcontractors and analysts involved in project delivery

  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams

  • Strong work ethic and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

  • Clear, articulate communicator able to manage multiple stakeholders

  • A "can‑do" attitude with ambition to shape the future of the business

  • Proven experience managing multiple client‑side contracts
