Project Quantity Surveyor - £50m Commercial Refurbishment - Central London

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + package

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Permanent (temp-to-perm considered)

A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a £50m commercial refurbishment scheme in Central London. This is a high-profile project offering long-term opportunity and genuine pathways for progression.

Role

You will take a key commercial role on the project, either leading the scheme or working as the No.2, depending on experience. Strong procurement skills and full lifecycle project involvement are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and tendering
  • Package management
  • Managing variations and change
  • Carrying out valuations
  • Managing subcontractor payments
  • Attending site and progress meetings
  • Supporting cost control and forecasting
  • Ensuring compliance with JCT D\&B processes (experience preferred, not essential)
Requirements
  • Previous experience on commercial projects (refurbishment experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong procurement and cost-management capability
  • Experience with two-stage/PSCA processes advantageous
  • Able to manage packages independently or lead project commercial delivery
  • UK main contractor experience preferred
